Happy Early St. Patrick’s Day

My first attempt at corned beef was maybe a C+. Tasted fabulous, but the meat was definitely tougher than it should have been. I used the AllRecipes.com recipe - pretty straight forward, but the 50 minute per pound cooking time was definitely a lie. Why don’t they just say "cook it all damn day"?
Looking further to more celebrations this week. Tuesday is Morrissey, barring an "unforeseen" cancellation. Maybe he’ll sing "Irish Blood,English Heart" in observance of the holiday. Friday is Shamrock Shaketini night with the girls.
My Great Grandma O’Dwyer is probably rolling in her grave. Or putting the vodka in the freezer.
