Neighborhood Walk

with 3 comments

The Veteran’s Day Parade in downtown Pittsburgh (my work neighborhoodwalk!) started at Mellon Arena, marched down Fifth Avenue, and ended on Stanwix in front of Gateway Towers. I caught it at the intersection of Fifth and Smithfield and then I cut through Market Square to take some shots near the grandstand.

You can view the entire album – 74 pictures, perhaps with captions – here:

  1. That’s incredible. You’re a photo machine! It looks like you saw an impressive parade.

  2. Seventy-four photos! You are my new photography hero. The shots are so great too — real drama in them. Love it!

  3. I think this is also the only photoset I’ve seen on Veterans’ Day that actually incorporates any pictures of veterans. Nice touch.
