Even More Digital Photography Exercises
Tonight is one of my make-up classes and while we didn’t officially have anything due, I’m posting these as part of my “Perspective and Subject at Edge of Frame” assignment. It was a beautiful day in Pittsburgh – still plenty cold, but lots of sunshine. I took advantage of my lunch hour and took these shots.
The US Steel building looks like it’s right on top of the Duquesne Club.
A little compression and layers, not to mention reflection.
Another good example of reflection, as well as compression and distortion.
Speaking of reflection, nothing gets much more reflective than the PPG towers. (Does 5th Avenue Place reflect on freaking every other surface in Pittsburgh?)
A little frame in frame action. This one is shot through a window in the construction wall.
Subject at the edge of frame? The subject isn’t the light post….
The Warner Theatre sign extends beyond the frame.
