Nonprofit Marketplace
The Pittsburgh Cares Nonprofit Marketplace is Saturday, December 6, at Chatham University from 9-2 PM. As the below flyer says, “this family-friendly event features in-house holiday volunteer projects, refreshments, a kid’s corner, raffle, and FREE parking.”
My girlfriend Dawn will be selling her unique hand-blown glass bead jewelry and other items. Parts of her proceeds will be going to Just Harvest, a local agency that works to eliminate poverty and hunger .
I missed the Handmade Arcade this year and I feel like I’m behind on my one-of-a-kind gift purchases. Always great for stocking stuffers and hostess gifts. Plus it gives me a good feeling to know that part of my money is going to worthy causes.
